Puzzle Notes
Greetings Subscribers,
Fall is my favorite season for many reasons -- the nights are cooler, the parks explode into colors, students return to liven up our college neighborhood. And then there's football. When played fairly, football is a beautiful sport. I love watching the receivers spin in the air, reaching for the ball while positioning their feet to touch the field within the lines. In slo-mo, it's ballet. Thanks to HDTV and on-field cameras, I feel that I'm on the field, running alongside Colin Kaepernick as he throws a Hail Mary pass.
Today's puzzle was inspired by sport, but one needn't be a sports fan to solve and enjoy the journey. Five grid-spanning answers will assist in your cruciverbal excursion.
Welcome to Week 596 of Crossword Nation. We humbly invite you to solve "Foul Play!" as your puzzle-game of the week.
Thank you for visiting and for supporting our little puzzle shop! Until next time, I remain . . .
Cruciverbally yours,
Liz
