Dear Crossword Nation Friends,
Do you ever purposely slow down your reading speed because you don't want a book to end? I'm not a speed puzzle solver, nor am I a speed reader. I tend to savor books as one would sip a glass of wine. I'll linger over certain passages, daydream, jot down notes in a journal, reread pages and even transcribe beautiful sentences into a special notebook. In other words -- it takes me forever to finish a book.
After finishing Patrick Bringley's "All the Beauty in the World," I came away wanting to write more candidly in my journal and make a puzzle. Today's crossword was directly inspired by Patrick's honest and beautifully-gentle memoir.
