Puzzle Notes

The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can.
~Neil Gaiman

Dear Crossword Nation Subscribers,

There's so much goodness in Neil Gaiman's message. I'm especially intrigued by the "play" portion:

"... play and dance and live as only you can"

After a long, cold pandemic winter, it seems appropriate to set aside extra "play" time to balance out the challenges of daily life. Let's face it, there's always something to do: whether it's deep-cleaning the kitchen, organizing tax documents or tackling the ETNA-sized mound of laundry. Perhaps we can redirect some of that work and just "play" a bit more. Rather than dismissing it as trifling and wasteful, "play" could be regarded an act of self-care and restoration. We hope that today's puzzle will fall under the category of "Play" and not "Arduous Toil!"

Welcome to Week 514 of Crossword Nation. For your immediate consideration, we present "Extended Play!" as your diversion this week. Happy Solving to you all!

Be well and happy, Dear Ones.

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz
