Let's Take the Low Road!
Difficulty ● ● ◐ ○ ○
"Humility, that low, sweet root, from which all heavenly virtues shoot"
I hope that this finds you well and that you enjoyed a pleasant Mother's Day yesterday.
Thomas Moore's humility -- a "low, sweet root" -- suggests to me that sometimes it's fitting to keep a low profile. At times it's best to slow-cook on a low simmer, instead of high, fiery heat.
Though our puzzle title appears to encourage engagement in unscrupulously-inappropriate activities, please be assured that our intentions are pure. (It's safe to solve the puzzle in the presence of young children.) As you make your way through the grid, all will be clear.
