Puzzle Notes

Dear Subscribers,

Greetings to you all, and a warm cruciverbal welcome to our new subscribers. Thank you for joining our Crossword Nation family!

During the past year, through necessity, most of us have figured out how to live a life of reduced inclusion. We’ve shifted from busy office spaces to Zoom meetings. We wear masks in stores and stay clear of crowds. We visit loved ones in nursing homes via Facetime or separated by protective glass.

After months of social distancing and staying home, one yearns for inclusion.

Our part of the world is opening up slowly, but surely. The little inclusions help: like being able to have lunch in a mom-and-pop cafe that's operating at reduced indoor capacity. Folks can now have a drink at a bar – sitting six feet apart is surprising pleasant! Museums re-opened with timed visits; this helped get us back into the habit of going places and feeling included. In that spirit, today’s puzzle is all about inclusion!

Welcome to Week 521 of Crossword Nation. We humbly invite you to solve “I'm In!” as your puzzle of the week. Be well and happy, Dear Ones.

Until next time, I remain ...

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz
