Puzzle Notes

Greetings Friends!

"It's not all about talent. It's about dependability, consistency, and being able to improve. If you work hard and you're coachable, and you understand what you need to do, you can improve" ~Bill Belichick

This week we tip our hat to performers whose auditions are so extraordinary, they earn top honors. Though today’s puzzle theme was inspired by a rare gesture of approval on a TV show, knowledge of the show’s workings is not a solving pre-req. One doesn't even have to watch TV to get the gist of it, for the puzzle takes the concept to different, more cruciverbally-familiar plane.

I hesitate to say more, lest I spoil the proceedings. As your resident Carnival Barker, I invite you to step right up!

Welcome to Week 544 of Crossword Nation. You are cordially invited to solve “Seating Arrangements” as your challenger of the week.

Thank you kindly for subscribing to our weekly puzzle service. We’re so happy you are here!

Until next time, I remain . . .

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz

But first ....

  1. Please check the Spam folder. Sometimes the Crossword Nation emails are redirected to Spam folders. This can happen after a software or system update. If it's not in the Spam folder, then try Step 2.
  2. Visit the Subscriber Portal and Re-send the Puzzle To Your Mailbox. You can always send the latest puzzle (or any puzzle from our archive) to yourself. Visit here:

Choose the "Resend Puzzle" link at the bottom right of the page. From there, you can choose which puzzle to send to your mailbox!
