Chow Down!

Puzzle Notes

Greetings Friends!

As we prepare to travel (or not travel, in my case) during this Thanksgiving week, I hope that today's puzzle will provide a few minutes of "me time" during what will be a hectic week of shopping, prepping, cooking and gathering together.

I'm planning an aerobic beginning to Thanksgiving Day -- getting up early to walk downtown and join friends at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Though I've lived in NYC for decades, it wasn't until 2017 that I had the chance to watch the parade, in person. It was magical; suddenly I was a kid again.

Back then I posted some pictures on my blog and will add more after this week's visit. After the parade, we'll have Thanksgiving dinner at a favorite restaurant.  After cooking for years, I'm happy to let someone else do the honors this year. Eating out helps our restaurant industry too. 🙂

I'd like to thank you for supporting me throughout the year by subscribing, rating, hating, liking, laughing at, being outraged at and solving my puzzles. Your feedback means the world to me and without you, there would be no Crossword Nation. You make the puzzles come alive. Thank you for allowing me to visit you on Monday nights!

May you and your families enjoy a mirthful and abundant Thanksgiving.

Welcome to Week 547 of Crossword Nation. We invite you to the table and present "Chow Down!" as your diversion of the week.  Be well and safe travels.

Until next time, I remain . . .

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz
