Puzzle Notes

Greetings Friends,

“March is the month of expectation, the things we do not know” ~Emily Dickinson

This week’s puzzle houses 14- and 15-letter entries in a 70-answer puzzle. I’m not sure why I had to go for a low word count, but it might have to do with some crossings that required special consideration.

With a few harder-than-usual three-letter words, this is one of those instances where the long entries are much easier than some of the shorties. If you watched last night’s Oscars, you will have heard of one of themed entries -- that is, if you weren’t sidetracked by Will clocking Chris on live TV. A night to remember.

I’d like to thank the Academy for allowing me to visit you, with puzzle in hand, on Monday nights.

Welcome to Week 565 of Crossword Nation. We invite you to play “Latitude Attitude” as your crossword of the week.

Thank you for subscribing and for re-upping! Until next time, I remain . . .

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz
