Neighborly Moves
Puzzle Notes
A fan will grab you and hug you and will not let go. When that happens, you wish it could be that way all over the world. ~Charley Pride
Greetings friends!
We were in Brooklyn yesterday, visiting the excellent Brooklyn Museum and strolling over to Sotto Voce for an Italian meal. It was the first really warm day of spring and folks were out and about chatting it up, hanging out and – after many months of isolation -- hugging more.
In today’s puzzle we hug you with corny puns and an embrace that may have occurred back in the day, (way back, during Upper Paleolithic times). [33-A]
My pandemic greeting etiquette involves reading verbal and physical signals: I won't initiate a hug, just in case folks aren't comfortable. But if a hug is welcome, then it's all good.
