Broadening One's Perspective
Puzzle Notes
Dear Friends,
I want to keep learning, keep exploring, keep doing more. ~Jessye Norman
Re last week's essay: Here's a big "thank you" to the subscribers who saw "Top Gun: Maverick" and sent me their reviews. 100% "thumbs-up," you say? I can't wait to steal away and see it.
When you live near a university, graduation is a -- thing. A yearly thing. In May, the nabe takes on a traditional look and feel: Caps and gowns, parents from out of town, "Pomp and Circumstance" on replay (depending on which school is graduating). There seem to be more graduates this year, probably due to the "make-up" ceremonies that had been cancelled during COVID. It's inspiring to see the young people all capped and gowned and ready to take on the world. We need them to take on the world, and wish them well.
In the spirit of continuing education, today's puzzle calls on the Solver to keep learning, stay curious and expand the mind.
Welcome to Week 576 of Crossword Nation. We invite you to solve "Broadening One's Perspective" as your diversion of the week.
Thank you for solving, subscribing and re-upping. Until next time, I remain . . .
Cruciverbally yours,
Liz
