Baker's Gift
Puzzle Notes
Dear Friends,
"I never taste the wine first in restaurants, I just ask the waiter to pour" ~Nigella Lawson
Greetings to you and I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
Today's puzzle might have arrived a bit early, by about six months or so. It celebrates an item that, if one is lucky, arrives in the mail during the wintry months.
Due to architectural reasons, the thematic entries are nestled in a harder-than-usual fill. But don't be alarmed by 43-Down, as sheer gut instinct will help build that corner. No need to rush through this one -- take your own sweet time!
Welcome to Week 577 of Crossword Nation. We humbly invite you to solve "Baker's Gift" as your diversion of the week.
Thank you for solving, subscribing and re-upping. Until next time, I remain . . .
Cruciverbally yours,
Liz
