Detour!

Puzzle Notes

Greetings Subscribers,

For those of you with the day off, I hope that you're enjoying the final stretch of a long Labor Day Weekend. Summer and fall were playing musical chairs this week. The days can be hot and humid, or cool and breezy. I live near Columbia University and for the first time since March 2020, things seem pretty "normal," with students very much in evidence. The fashion statement this year, for women, appears to be: high-waisted plumbers pants, cropped tops and platform Mary Janes. I love it!

But I digress, which brings me to the title of today's offering.

Welcome to Week 588 of Crossword Nation. You are cordially invited to try "Detour!" as your crossword of the week. We hope you'll enjoy the solve!

Thank you for solving, re-upping and for supporting our little puzzle shop!

Warm wishes,

Liz

But first ....

  1. Please check the Spam folder. Sometimes the Crossword Nation emails are redirected to Spam folders. This can happen after a software or system update. If it's not in the Spam folder, then try Step 2.
  2. Visit the Subscriber Portal and Re-send the Puzzle To Your Mailbox. You can always send the latest puzzle (or any puzzle from our archive) to yourself. Visit here:

Choose the "Resend Puzzle" link at the bottom right of the page. From there, you can choose which puzzle to send to your mailbox!
