Square Space
Puzzle Notes
Greetings Subscribers,
During the coverage of the Queen’s funeral last week, it was reported that Elizabeth II kept a penknife in her Launer purse. How else would she, in a pinch, sharpen a pencil for impromptu crossword-solving? At times she packed a crossword puzzle in that purse too.
In connection with this week’s puzzle, one doesn’t need a penknife . . . unless there’s the urge to reduce the crossword to shreds. (In such instances, I use my bare hands). If you’re stumped as to theme, please note that the answers, as always, are contained in the last file (a PDF) attached to this email; so as not to spoil the puzzle, we tuck the answers into Page 2 of the PDF.
Welcome to Week 591 of Crossword Nation. We invite you to solve “Square Space” as your diversion of the week. Happy solving!
Thank you for visiting and for supporting our little puzzle shop! Until next time, I remain . . .
Cruciverbally yours,
Liz
