Puzzle Notes

"In the business world, the rearview mirror is always clearer than the windshield" ~Warren Buffett

Dear Subscribers,

Happy November to you from balmy New York City, where temperatures are in the mid-70s and far from autumnal. But time marches on. As we inch our way towards the holidays, the dwindling calendar pages indicate that most of 2022 is seen in the rear-view mirror. (Santa, is it too late to be "nice?")

Today's puzzle isn't exactly naughty, but it's a tad trickier than the usual Tuesday fare. But once you crack the code, it'll be smooth sailing. To lend a hand with fill words that are harder than the long themers, we've arranged for fair crossings to assist in the cruciverbal journey.

Welcome to Week 597 of Crossword Nation. Submitted for your approval, we present "Rear-View Mirroring" as your diversion of the week. Happy Solving!

Thank you for visiting and for supporting our little puzzle shop! Until next time, I remain . . .

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz
