Taking Sides on Thanksgiving

Puzzle Notes

Dear Subscribers,

Every year, during Thanksgiving Week at the White House, the President pardons a few lucky turkeys. In keeping with this tradition, Crossword Nation has granted clemency to the crossword puzzle. Free to wander the world, the usual crossword is on vacation, enjoying the balmy shores of Cruciverbistan -- a secluded island nation somewhere between the La Brea Tar Pits and the Leyte Gulf.

This week we break the traditional "crossword" rules to present a special holiday offering. We've invited unchecked letters and two-letter words to the holiday table. All will be clear as you eat your way through the solve. Mangia!

Welcome to Week 599 of Crossword Nation. We cordially invite you to solve "Taking Sides on Thanksgiving" as your newest puzzle.

As we kick off the holiday season, I'm particularly grateful to you -- our subscribers -- who keep our little puzzle shop up and running throughout the year. Without you, our independent offerings would not be possible. We wish you and yours a Peaceful and Abundant Thanksgiving. Until next time, I remain . . .

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz

Choose the "Resend Puzzle" link at the bottom right of the page. From there, you can choose which puzzle to send to your mailbox!
