"The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder" ~Alfred Hitchcock

Dear Subscribers,

I'd like to thank all the subscribers who wrote in to wish us well on our 600th puzzle last week. When we launched this indie puzzle series back in the day (2011), we planned on a 10-year run. Well, Crossword Nation is in its 11th year, and we're still having a ball. Thanks for supporting us on this cruciverbal road trip!

This week's puzzle made its way onto the grid after we fired up the space heater for the first time this fall. If you're familiar with the puzzles I've made for The New York Times, you already know that I like to apply visual elements to gridcraft. Today's diversion follows on that tradition and celebrates a seasonal theme.

Welcome to Week 601 of Crossword Nation. We joyously invite you to solve "The Temperature is Falling!" as your crossword of the week.

Be well and thank you for supporting our little puzzle shop.

Until next time, I remain . . .

Cruciverbally yours,

Liz

But first ....

  1. Please check the Spam folder. Sometimes the Crossword Nation emails are redirected to Spam folders. This can happen after a software or system update. If it's not in the Spam folder, then try Step 2.
  2. Visit the Subscriber Portal and Re-send the Puzzle To Your Mailbox. You can always send the latest puzzle (or any puzzle from our archive) to yourself. Visit here:

Choose the "Resend Puzzle" link at the bottom right of the page. From there, you can choose which puzzle to send to your mailbox!
