Knock Around the Block!
Puzzle Notes
Dear Subscribers,
"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end" ~Seneca
As the year winds down, I find myself reaching for tried-and-true classics:
Playing a Bach Suite transcribed for viola. Re-reading Middlemarch. Practicing copperplate calligraphy. Making potato pancakes from scratch.
These activities seem to bring increased Joy the second, third and 100th time around. Full Disclosure: My potato pancakes will never, ever be as amazing as my mother's ... but a distant runner-up version is still comforting.
This week we knock around the cruciverbal block for one last time before the Clean Slate of 2023 unfolds before us.
Welcome to Week 604 of Crossword Nation. We cordially invite you to solve "Knock Around the Block!" as your final diversion of 2022. I wish you and yours a Splendid New Year! Thank you for supporting our little crossword shop.
Until next time, I remain . . .
Cruciverbally yours,
Liz
