Puzzle Notes

"If a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance" ~Bernard Williams

Greetings Subscribers,

And just like that -- it's the end of June. And with it comes a feeling of soft closure as spring passes the baton to summer. The sunsets are more golden, school is out and the first half of the year is almost wrapped up. I have the urge to lighten up. I find myself visiting Home Depot and buying creamy-white eggshell paint to refresh the living room and foyer walls. I'll put up some summer-weight curtains and (for retro Fuzzy Navel cocktails on hot nights) replenish the peach schnapps inventory.

Some of you may be traveling this summer. Enjoy your vacations! I'm glad that I can come along with you for the ride on Monday nights!

Welcome to Week 630 of Crossword Nation. In the spirit of soft closure, we present "Time for the Closing Bell!" as your cruciverbal concoction of the week. Happy Solving!

Be well and thank you for supporting our little puzzle shop. Until next time, I remain . . .

Cruciverbally yours and with respect,

Liz
