Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends,

Greetings to you on this busy holiday week. The Winter Solstice is nigh. What a confluence of celebrations! In the midst of all the hustle and bustle, shopping, cooking, and gift-giving -- I hope that you'll carve out some "me time" for yourselves. This week's puzzle will have a familiar ring to it. I hope you'll enjoy our offering for Week 655 of Crossword Nation, titled "I Heard the Bells!"

Sunday puzzle alert: for folks who solve the Washington Post crossword, please note that I'll have a holiday puzzle in the Post this coming Sunday. I'm filling in for the excellent Evan Birnholz -- the paper's intrepid Sunday puzzle writer -- who is on paternity leave. Please check The Washington Post on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 if you're in the mood for some classic holiday fun and a short interview. It's thrilling to work on the large 21x canvas again. I'm grateful to Evan and the good folks at the WaPo for inviting me to guest-cruciverbalize.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!. Thank you for taking the time to solve my puzzles throughout the year. It is an honor to serve you, our Crossword Nation Family.

Cruciverbally yours and with respect,

Liz

  2. Visit the Subscriber Portal and Re-send the Puzzle To Your Mailbox. You can always send the latest puzzle (or any puzzle from our archive) to yourself. Visit here:
