Greetings Crossword Nation Friends,

I'm all aquiver" ~George and Ira Gershwin

It seems that IRA and ELLA pop up often in crosswords, and I'm elated about that. Ella Fitzgerald was a master interpreter of George and Ira Gershwin's songs. Take, for instance, Ella's "Fascinating Rhythm," where she changes her vocal tone at "all aqui-VER." I'm all aquiver just listening to that. With its many covers over the years, this song stands the test of time, especially in the care of Stephane Grappelli's exuberant fiddling. We fiddled with the song title to create today's puzzle title.
