Jaywalking!
Puzzle Notes
Greetings Crossword Nation Friends,
I hope that you all enjoyed a pleasant Thanksgiving weekend. My four-day break was deliberately low-key, in that I overtly wallowed in my home -- without construction noise from the renovation that's been under way since August. Bliss! Thanksgiving dinner and a weekend brunch were lovely. Other than that, I stayed close to home and surrounded myself with books, music and film. I finished Zadie Smith's The Fraud, studied Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5 and watched Prizzi's Honor for the first time since its release in 1985. The steel-cut performance of Anjelica Huston stole the show, and the film inspired 37-Across which snowballed to create today's theme!
Welcome to Week 705 of Crossword Nation. Please enjoy "Jaywalking!" as your featured puzzle of the week. I'm so thankful for this privilege -- of being able to visit you on Monday nights.
Cruciverbally yours and with respect,
Liz
